About the Company
Our client is a prominent manufacturing company under a large conglomerate with interests in manufacturing and publishing. The company specializes in producing ethanol from rice grains, maize, and corn, operating a plant located near Thiruvellore, close to Chennai.
Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking a seasoned Accounts and Finance professional with ICWA or MBA qualifications and around 15 years of experience in leadership roles within manufacturing companies. The role requires providing robust leadership to the accounts team, ensuring effective completion of tasks while inspiring the team.
- Lead and manage the audit teams and coordinate audit activities.
- Report Management Information System (MIS) reports to top management.
- Enhance financial controls, policies, and procedures to improve processes.
- Oversee the month-end closing process and verify the accuracy of financial statements.
- Approve invoices, sales bills, and payment vouchers promptly and accurately.
- Ensure timely filing and compliance of GST returns.
- Distribute work efficiently within the accounts team to ensure proper workflow.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified ICWA or MBA professional.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in accounting leadership roles in manufacturing companies.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams and manage financial reporting processes.
