Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development efforts in designated geographic areas or customer segments within the Food & Beverage utility market.
- Discover and cultivate new business prospects while increasing customer adoption of water treatment products.
- Establish and sustain strong relationships with senior-level customer stakeholders and critical decision-makers.
- Design and implement sales strategies aligned with business growth targets and market openings.
- Work collaboratively with account management, marketing, research and development, and other internal teams to execute client-centric strategies.
- Assist with new product launches and provide valuable insights to guide future innovative efforts.
- Evaluate market trends, customer requirements, and competitor dynamics to uncover expansion opportunities.
- Relay feedback and recommendations to internal groups informed by customer and industry insights.
- Formulate strategic initiatives to elevate brand awareness and reinforce market standing.
- Manage priorities, track sales pipeline, and support revenue goals through efficient execution of growth initiatives.
- Travel regularly (approximately 50-75%) for customer meetings, field support, and market development.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or related commercial roles.
- Proven achievement in complex B2B environments, ideally within utilities, water treatment, food and beverage, or industrial sectors.
- Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience demonstrating success in fast-paced commercial settings.
- Expertise in consultative sales methods, capable of understanding client challenges and delivering customized solutions.
- Experience managing strategic accounts, generating new business, and expanding market coverage.
- Strong analytical aptitude for assessing market trends, customer needs, and business prospects.
- Capability to develop and implement strategies aligned with revenue growth objectives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Collaborative approach, experienced in partnering across sales, marketing, technical, and operational functions.
- Inventive problem-solving skills dedicated to ongoing improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, approximately 50-75% based on location.
