Management Accountant

Position Overview

The role aims to advance managerial and cost accounting practices through meticulous collection and analysis of financial and operational data. The incumbent will prepare analytical reports and develop models that facilitate informed decision-making, optimize resource utilization, and align with the strategic goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and executing managerial and cost accounting initiatives following established methodologies.
• Gather and scrutinize operational and capital expenditure data to prepare reports supporting strategic decisions.
• Participate in crafting cost accounting frameworks, identifying cost centers and drivers in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Support the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines pertaining to managerial and cost accounting.
• Examine discrepancies between planned and actual expenses, offering recommendations to enhance spending efficiency.
• Contribute to producing necessary financial and economic analyses.
• Compile periodic reports for the direct supervisor detailing outcomes, challenges encountered, and proposed improvements.
• Help maintain and update financial databases utilized for analysis and reporting purposes.
• Engage in workshops and meetings intended for the enhancement of financial policies and systems.

Technical Skills

Expertise in managerial and cost accounting practices, financial analysis and reporting, financial modelling, SAP financial systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.

Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline is necessary, alongside at least three years of relevant practical experience in managerial accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis.
