Role overview
LSH Auto is hiring a Maintenance Technician with Mercedes Benz expertise to support its Whitefield dealership. The role focuses on keeping a premium vehicle fleet performing reliably and to a high standard.
Working arrangement
This is a full-time onsite position with a 40-hour working week.
Compensation
The role offers a salary of £31,500 plus OTE bonus, along with a welcome bonus of £2,000.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on Mercedes Benz vehicles in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
- Use the appropriate parts, fluids, lubricants, and materials, while maintaining clear and detailed service documentation.
- Keep the workshop tidy, secure, and safe at all times.
- Provide strong customer service and explain vehicle findings and repair needs clearly.
Required qualifications and experience
- NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
- At least 2 years of experience working on Mercedes Benz or comparable luxury vehicles.
- Good troubleshooting ability and a careful eye for detail.
- A valid UK driving licence.
- Openness to continual learning, particularly around new electric vehicle technologies.
