Maintenance Man - Residential Home in Birmingham

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance Man to become part of our residential home's team located in Birmingham. The role is crucial to ensure that the property remains safe, well-kept, and comfortable for all residents.

Primary Duties

• Perform routine repairs and upkeep including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Carry out regular inspections and safety checks on equipment and premises.
• Address maintenance requests from residents and staff promptly.
• Manage upkeep of exterior areas such as gardens and walkways.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance jobs.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Fundamental understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
• Effective problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently and handling multiple priorities.

Additional Information
