Job description
Position Overview
We are currently looking for a skilled and adaptable Locum General Practitioner to join our team in Stafford on a temporary contract basis. This role offers flexibility in session scheduling, making it an excellent opportunity for GPs seeking varied working hours and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, diagnoses, and treatments for individuals of all age ranges.
- Manage both acute and chronic medical conditions, ensuring seamless continuity of patient care.
- Deliver patient-focused, high-quality medical services aligned with professional standards.
- Collaborate closely with nursing staff, healthcare assistants, and administrative teams within the practice.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date patient records adhering to GMC and NHS guidelines.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a medical degree with full registration under the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Have completed GP training and hold certification such as MRCGP or an equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrate prior experience working in general practice settings within the UK.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Show adaptability to diverse practice environments and patient needs.
