Position Overview
PepsiCo Global Business Services India LLP is seeking a Maintenance / Engineering Senior Supervisor (L08) for its Kosi and Channo manufacturing plants in India. This leadership role is essential for managing plant utilities, ensuring excellent maintenance standards, and overseeing a significant operational workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance and engineering activities related to plant utilities to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices to optimize operations.
- Manage end-to-end execution of projects involving utilities and engineering systems.
- Develop and standardize engineering and maintenance workflows.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, conduct audits, and maintain governance standards.
- Control costs, manage water resources, and support sustainable utility operations.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to implement governance frameworks effectively.
Technical & Functional Expertise
- Proficient in managing utilities such as cooling systems and power supply equipment.
- Experienced in operating industrial wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) with an emphasis on compliance and sustainability.
- Hands-on or supervisory experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).
- Comprehensive knowledge of plant maintenance processes.
- Exposure to greenfield or brownfield projects is advantageous.
People and Labour Management
- Skilled in union management and labor negotiations.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance.
- Experienced in contractor management.
- Capable of leading and managing a large blue-collar workforce.
Team and Reporting Structure
- Directly supervising 2 Managers.
- Indirectly overseeing 2 Assistant Managers and Executives.
- Overall team includes approximately 27 operators.
- Responsibility includes oversight of cooling systems, power utilities, and utility center operations.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in plant maintenance and utilities management.
- Strong ownership mentality focusing on cost, compliance, and reliability.
- Ability to establish systems in a relatively new plant environment.
