Sherwood Park Volkswagen, a part of the AutoCanada network—the largest Canadian-owned automotive dealership group—is seeking a full-time Lot Attendant based in Sherwood Park, Alberta. This role offers immediate hire and is integral to supporting the dealership’s service and sales operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Transport customers and staff as required around the dealership premises.
  • Maintain dealership grounds and facilities, ensuring a clean and orderly environment.
  • Support service and sales departments with various operational duties.
  • Organize and park vehicles daily for sales and service workflows.
  • Remove protective vehicle coverings and identification tags before returning vehicles to customers.
  • Inspect vehicles meticulously for stains, damage, or debris, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer vehicles.
  • Contribute to shop cleanup and manage deliveries as needed.
  • Perform seasonal exterior vehicle cleaning, including snow removal.
  • Identify and communicate merchandising needs or issues to management.
  • Place advertising signage appropriately on vehicles.
  • Manage and monitor vehicle placement based on reconditioning progress.
  • Maintain lot tidiness by clearing garbage and managing waste.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Completion of high school or equivalent (GED).
  • Genuine interest in automobiles and a working knowledge of vehicles.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
  • Competence in operating both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Familiarity with cleaning agents, tools, and power washers is beneficial.
  • Dependable and reliable with a keen eye for detail and effective prioritization abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
