Overview
We are seeking a skilled Logistics and Supply Chain Management Specialist to join our team on a remote contract basis. The role involves in-depth review and analysis of critical logistics documentation such as packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers to ensure authenticity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Critically assess logistics documents for correctness and alignment with supply chain best practices.
- Create annotated sample documents demonstrating proper logistics and supply chain procedures.
- Analyze existing supply chain workflows and recommend practical enhancements based on field experience.
- Provide comprehensive feedback on logistics scenarios emphasizing document formatting and efficiency improvements.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to clarify requirements and convey complex logistics concepts clearly.
- Participate in quality assurance by verifying the accuracy and applicability of supply chain datasets.
- Support the development of training materials and resources that mirror real-world logistics challenges and industry norms.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least three years of practical experience in logistics and supply chain management focused on documentation including packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, documentation standards, and global supply chain operations.
- Excellent communication skills in English with an ability to simplify technical content.
- High attention to detail when examining and preparing supply chain documents.
- Demonstrated analytical capability for identifying and proposing workflow improvements in logistics.
- A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline is advantageous.
- Ability to operate independently in a fully remote setting while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
