Biology Expert

Role Overview

We are seeking a Biology Expert to join our team on a contract basis, fully remote. This role focuses on critically assessing and refining biological data and content to inform AI development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly analyze biology-related data, prompts, and content within AI workflows, providing comprehensive and constructive feedback.
• Design, evaluate, and polish scientific scenarios and questions to represent intricate real-world biological challenges.
• Deliver expert insights to guarantee precision, appropriateness, and depth in AI training datasets and outputs related to biology.
• Work closely with platform teams to resolve ambiguities and enhance the completeness and quality of biological information.
• Maintain detailed documentation of findings, methodologies, and justifications for transparency and reproducibility.
• Participate actively in iterative reviews and continuous assessments to improve the AI system's biological capabilities.
• Contribute knowledge through interdisciplinary sessions, enriching overall project outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate degree (PhD) in Biology or a closely related life science field.
• Extensive understanding of fundamental biological concepts with the skill to simplify complex topics for varied audiences.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear presentation of scientific evaluations and feedback.
• Experience in analyzing scientific data, evaluating research critically, and synthesizing complex subject matter effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and consistently produce high-quality work under structured project settings.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary projects, particularly those involving scientific or technological focus; familiarity with AI is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to scientific accuracy and rigor.
