Job description

About the role

For the Oberding site, a support person is needed in goods receiving for premium airline catering. The production team delivers luxury inflight meals with a strong focus on elegant presentation, high quality, and a memorable guest experience. The goal is to create menus and service that leave a lasting impression on even the most demanding passengers.

Key responsibilities

  • Check incoming goods for both quality and quantity.
  • Keep the receiving area organised and monitor its cleanliness, usability, and safety.
  • Verify delivery notes against the related order documents.
  • Store food items correctly and in an orderly manner.

Profile and qualifications

Applicants should have practical experience in hospitality, preferably in large kitchens or canteens, as well as experience with warehouse administration and food receiving. A completed vocational qualification in hospitality or logistics is desirable, for example as a warehouse logistics specialist, warehouse clerk, logistician, specialist in system catering, cook, retail sales assistant, or specialist in food technology. A solid understanding of kitchen processes, goods, and product knowledge is expected. Knowledge of food law and hygiene regulations such as LMHV and HACCP is also important. A category B driving licence is an advantage.

Additional information

The company aims to provide a positive, supportive workplace and sees its employees as the driving force behind its success. The role offers a fair and transparent salary, fixed working hours from Monday to Friday, employee benefits such as JobRad and Urban Sports Club, free meals, company events with a sporting and social focus, tailored mobility support, and Christmas and holiday bonuses after one year of service.

Equal opportunity

The employer welcomes applicants of all genders, backgrounds, religions, ethnicities, and sexual orientations and values diversity as an important part of the organisation.
