Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lobby Ambassador to join The Ritz-Carlton in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. This full-time, non-management role is designed to elevate the guest experience by actively promoting and facilitating all services available within the lobby area, including the restaurant, bar, front desk, business center, and lounge.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage proactively with guests to promote all lobby services and respond promptly to requests, including arranging transportation, reservations, and dry cleaning through appropriate providers.
- Address specific needs of guests, ensuring their satisfaction through follow-up and personalized care.
- Provide comprehensive information about the hotel amenities, local attractions, events, and activities to guests.
- Coordinate with departments such as bell staff, housekeeping, and food & beverage to resolve guest inquiries and issues efficiently.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions to management and complete safety-related training and certifications.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional appearance and safeguarding company assets and information confidentiality.
- Welcome guests warmly according to company standards, anticipate their needs, assist guests with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation for their patronage.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone, maintaining excellent etiquette at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues to support team goals and respond appropriately to their concerns.
- Meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and handling objects up to 10 pounds as part of daily tasks.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned to support hotel operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in a related hospitality or customer service role.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
- No license or certification is necessary to qualify.
