Overview

The Wessex Mint, a British manufacturer specializing in precious metals such as gold and silver, is expanding its Australian operations. We produce, mint, engrave, and package our own products under one roof in Dorset, selling them live globally on platforms including TikTok Shop, Whatnot, eBay Live, and our proprietary platform. This role offers a guaranteed base salary starting at $80,000 AUD, increasing to $100,000 AUD within six months, plus additional on-target earnings of $50,000 AUD annually, totaling a potential $150,000 AUD per year from month six onward. No prior experience in live selling is necessary as comprehensive training is provided.

Role Responsibilities

• Host live sales events on multiple platforms Monday through Friday, showcasing gold, silver, and collectible items in real time.
• Engage and develop a loyal audience that returns consistently for shows beyond promotional deals.
• Acquire in-depth product knowledge to confidently address serious collector inquiries.
• Manage the flow and energy of live shows, including pace, offers, interactive banter, and closing sales.
• Conduct daily preparation and post-show wrap-ups to ensure smooth broadcasts.
• Collaborate regularly with campaign and creative teams to continually improve the presentation format.
• Provide audience feedback to influence future show content based on live interactions.

Candidate Requirements

• Energetic and charismatic presence on camera; approachable, quick-witted, and confident.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Capable of sustaining engagement during full live shifts consistently.
• Maintain credibility as a trustworthy figure for customers investing in genuine bullion products.
• Receptive to coaching, actively seeking and applying feedback from show reviews.
• Highly organized, able to independently manage show preparation and administrative duties.
• No prior live selling experience required; complete training provided with full pay from the start.
• Bonus but not essential skills: any background in live streaming, sales, retail, hospitality, promotion, acting, teaching, or possessing a personal audience presence.

Working Hours and Conditions

• Monday to Friday schedule; no weekend work required.
• Alternate weekly shifts of 07:00 to 15:30 and 15:30 to midnight.
• Eight hours live broadcasting per shift with a 30-minute break.
• Fully remote work environment, eliminating commute time.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting base salary of $80,000 AUD immediately, rising to $90,000 AUD at three months and $100,000 AUD by six months.
• Additional monthly challenge earnings targeting $50,000 AUD annually, starting from the first week.
