Overview

Transport for NSW is seeking a dedicated Linemarker to join their Projects team based in Hay, NSW. This permanent full-time role involves operating machinery and vehicles to deliver critical road marking services across regional and outer metropolitan transport networks. Join a team that contributes to lasting infrastructure outcomes impacting communities across New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate linemarking machinery, vehicles, and equipment safely to perform road marking tasks on transport networks.
  • Carry out linemarking, traffic control, and maintenance duties under varying conditions, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and operational requirements.
  • Identify and troubleshoot routine operational issues while escalating complex problems to minimize risk and maintain project delivery.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure safe, efficient, and dependable transport outcomes for customers and the wider community.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in maintaining work records, effective communication within teams, and safely completing labouring, driving, or linemarking tasks.
  • Proven reliability and ability to apply safety, environmental, and quality standards in operational settings, addressing routine challenges efficiently.
  • Hands-on experience operating vehicles, machinery, or linemarking equipment to provide maintenance and support, while complying with standards.
  • Willingness to obtain additional required licenses and tickets as mandated by legislation or internal policies.
  • Possession of a current Medium Rigid (MR) license and White Card, with readiness to acquire further qualifications necessary for the role.

Additional Information

This position is located on-site in Hay, NSW. Salary ranges from $1,439.20 to $1,476.10. Applications close at 11:59 PM on Sunday, 9th August 2026.
