Overview
Aquatic & Leisure Centre in Forster, NSW is seeking qualified lifeguards to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all pool users. Role summary
The position involves overseeing daily pool operations and ensuring both the pool area and surrounding spaces remain safe and enjoyable for patrons. The role calls for a friendly, energetic, and dependable person with strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to excellent customer service.
Key duties
You will interact with patrons of different ages, abilities, cultures, and needs, while maintaining safety and supporting a positive customer experience. The job requires flexibility to work a range of shifts, including early openings from 5:45 am and late closings up to 9:00 pm, across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
Skills and attributes
Applicants should be confident communicating clearly, understand workplace health and safety practices in an aquatic setting, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in a similar role is not required, though it would be an advantage. A current pool operations certificate is also viewed favourably but is not mandatory.
