Role Overview

The legal team plays a key role in safeguarding the organization’s interests by offering practical legal guidance, ensuring statutory compliance, reducing legal exposure, and supporting day-to-day business decisions. This position involves preparing and vetting legal documents, handling contract matters, and representing the company in legal and regulatory issues.

Key Work Areas

  • Coordinate with advocates, sub-registrars, and relevant government departments for revenue matters, registrations, and approvals.
  • Manage legal due diligence, drafting, and review of legal documents.
  • Handle APF coordination with banks and respond to customer legal queries.
  • Oversee registration coordination, real estate compliance, approval coordination, and TNRERA compliance.
  • Provide legal advice to management and internal teams based on applicable laws, rulings, and regulations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and related legal instruments.
  • Track executed contracts, maintain records, and monitor key deadlines.
  • Identify legal risks, recommend mitigation measures, and support dispute or claim resolution.
  • Represent the organization in legal matters, including court proceedings and arbitrations, when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of legal cases, correspondence, and reports.

Experience Requirements

For Executive to Senior Executive level, a minimum of 4 years of experience in real estate or construction is required. For the Manager role, candidates must have at least 4 years of experience in real estate transactions and property law, specifically within the real estate or construction sector.
