Job Summary

The Manager - Legal is responsible for overseeing post-legal activities, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory norms, managing legal documents and registrations, coordinating with internal teams and external entities including banks, and facilitating smooth customer handovers and project legal conformity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guarantee full compliance of all real estate projects with applicable local, state, and central laws and regulations.
  • Perform detailed legal examination and verification of property documents, preparing comprehensive Legal Due Diligence Reports for projects.
  • Assemble and submit the necessary legal documents required for Project Approval for Finance (APF) to banks and financial institutions.
  • Respond to inquiries from banks, financial bodies, customers, and other stakeholders by providing legal clarifications and supporting paperwork.
  • Liaise with internal departments such as Legal, Planning, Sales, CRM, Projects, and Construction to gather and authenticate all required documents.
  • Draft, review, and vet a variety of legal documents including property-related agreements, deeds, and other legal instruments.
  • Oversee registration activities by coordinating with Sub-Registrar Offices, government agencies, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution and registration of documents.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all legal documents, approvals, registrations, correspondence, and statutory compliance.

Key Skills and Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of real estate laws, property registration processes, and documentation requirements.
  • Familiarity with APF procedures and legal stipulations of banking institutions.
  • Knowledgeable about RERA, Registration Act, Transfer of Property Act, Stamp Duty rules, and related legislation.
  • Highly skilled in drafting, reviewing, and analyzing legal documents.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must possess an LLB degree (Bachelor of Laws) in any specialization.
