About the Opportunity
We are excited to offer a position for a Legal Intern to join our team at Proz in São Paulo. This role is ideal for law students passionate about organization, detail orientation, and eager to develop their professional path in a vibrant and cooperative setting centered on educational transformation.
Responsibilities
- Support monitoring of judicial and administrative processes by organizing documentation, updating control records, and assisting with defense strategy preparations.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, notifications, legal opinions, and other routine legal documents.
- Conduct research on legislation, legal doctrine, and case law to assist in legal analyses and demands.
- Help control procedural and administrative deadlines to ensure orderly workflow.
- Prepare reports, memorandums, and presentations to facilitate legal routines.
- Provide support to internal departments and liaise with law firms, public agencies, clients, and partners under legal team supervision.
- Maintain and update both physical and electronic legal files.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Law degree program, ideally from the 5th semester onwards.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and analytical capacity.
- Show proactivity, responsibility, and a strong eagerness to learn.
- Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a legal office or legal department, including internships.
- Basic understanding of contract law and litigation.
- Familiarity with electronic judicial process management systems such as PJe, e-SAJ, Projudi, eproc, or similar.
