Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel for a contract position offering remote work. This opportunity involves contributing 10 to 40 hours per week with compensation ranging from $90 to $130 per hour. The role centers around creating and improving contract negotiation playbooks and supporting AI training projects through expert contract management.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, review, and enhance contract negotiation playbooks tailored to real-world business scenarios and organizational needs.
Compose, analyze, and annotate various commercial contracts ensuring they meet compliance and clarity standards.
Offer expert guidance on best practices in contract handling, negotiation techniques, and management strategies.
Provide appropriate non-confidential transaction documents to aid project documentation and AI training objectives.
Assess and refine existing contract templates to boost efficiency and risk reduction.
Coordinate with the project team to ensure all materials align with guidelines and contribute effectively to AI system training.
Deliver detailed and constructive written and verbal feedback enhancing system comprehension and output quality.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Current or prior experience as General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, or Assistant General Counsel focusing on contract negotiation playbooks.
Proven skill in drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts within corporate settings.
Excellent communication capabilities in both written and spoken forms, with meticulous attention to clarity and detail.
Understanding of established industry standards for contract review and risk evaluation.
Experience creating or using contract negotiation playbooks tailored for corporate requirements.
Knowledge of document-centric projects including sourcing and submitting eligible materials.
Self-motivated with the ability to provide precise, actionable insights for AI training goals.
