Role Overview
This position involves designing and delivering continuing education and skill enhancement programs targeted at practicing professionals within the social service and healthcare sectors. The candidate will also be responsible for instructing and guiding new entrants to the field, including future social work associates, programme executives, and care staff. Passion for teaching and creativity in developing a blended curriculum that incorporates both face-to-face and digital learning formats are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and teach courses focused on social work and counselling to both prospective employees and adult learners seeking advancement.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and learner support to facilitate professional growth.
- Take a leadership or supportive role in outreach initiatives, including orientation sessions, international student exchanges, and educational study tours.
- Oversee and collaborate with industry partners for projects and clinical placement arrangements.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of five years of practical experience in the social services industry.
- Possess relevant academic credentials in Social Work, with postgraduate qualifications in Counselling or related disciplines considered advantageous.
- Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Excel and general office applications.
