Job description
Role overview
Rentokil Initial is hiring a Learning & Organisational Development Consultant for the Pacific region. This is a newly created position designed to support the L&OD Manager across coordination, learning content creation, and session delivery. The role suits someone who enjoys handling multiple priorities, works well in a fast-moving environment, and brings a practical, grounded approach.
The focus is on soft skills and leadership development, so prior pest, hygiene, or plant experience is not required. The team operates mainly remotely, with office visits as needed and occasional travel. Collaboration across global time zones is an important part of the job.
Why this opportunity stands out
You would be joining an experienced, approachable, and high-energy team that works across the Pacific. The group includes specialists in LMS administration, content development, onboarding, and coordination, alongside the L&OD Manager. As part of a global organisation, you will also connect with colleagues in other regions and share ideas across markets.
The position has been created because the business is growing quickly across the Pacific, making this a strong fit for someone ready for a dynamic and expanding environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and co-deliver leadership workshops through the RI Academy, including programs for emerging leaders and middle managers.
- Handle end-to-end program coordination, including communications, reminders, and post-session support.
- Partner with the L&OD Manager on initiatives such as performance reviews, the YVC Cultural Survey, succession planning, and related projects.
- Support the online learning platform U+, offering guidance and practical recommendations to employees.
- Work closely with the wider L&OD team and step in wherever additional support is needed.
- Look for better ways of working, including opportunities to use AI and other improvements.
- Collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and colleagues across different time zones and regions.
What we're looking for
- Strong capability in managing stakeholders at senior and cross-functional levels.
- Confident, engaging, and interactive facilitation skills for learning and development sessions.
- Ability to tailor learning content to suit the organisation’s needs and context.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with high expectations.
- Experience or ease in working across cultures and international time zones.
