About the role

The Assistant Sales Manager will act as an individual contributor focused on generating business, nurturing customer relationships, and supporting service delivery for commercial or residential accounts. This position reports to the ABM/BM and requires close coordination with internal teams and outside stakeholders.

Business development and sales

  • Deliver branch sales objectives in line with the approved business plan.
  • Run promotional initiatives across the assigned territory.
  • Consistently meet monthly sales KPIs.
  • Identify prospective clients and respond to enquiries within the required turnaround time.
  • Work to convert enquiries into confirmed business.
  • Track contract renewals so they align with company expectations.
  • Watch market trends and spot new opportunities in the territory.

Customer service

  • Ensure customers receive high-quality service execution.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships.
  • Prepare and share customer reports on time.
  • Coordinate with Operations and the Back Office to handle and resolve complaints.
  • Carry out detailed site inspections and SRAs at customer sites.
  • Create quotations through the system.
  • Pass customer feedback to the Branch Manager and secure appreciation letters from RBU/CBU customers.

Administration and accounts

  • Submit invoices on time and obtain the needed acknowledgements.
  • Work with the back office to ensure billing is accurate and timely.
  • Share customer costing and service expectations with Operations before delivery.
  • Ensure collections reach the back office within 24 hours.
  • Review daily billing and collection status with the back office team.

Systems and MIS

  • Keep sales systems updated without delay.
  • Maintain daily and monthly sales reporting.
  • Keep the customer database current.
  • Set realistic customer expectations for pest management services.
  • Record accurate customer information.
  • Promote and sell service visits according to iCABS frequencies to support planning.
  • Share cost sheets and material details with Operations and communicate expectations before service execution.
  • Make sure new sales appear in iCABS before execution and are scheduled in coordination with Service Planners.
  • Avoid promising service schedules without planner alignment.

Education and experience

Applicants should hold a graduate degree in any discipline. The role requires proficiency in MS Office and G Suite. For commercial business profiles, a minimum of 6 years of direct sales experience in facilities management is needed. For residential business profiles, experience in home products/services or residential cleaning is preferred, with at least 6 years of relevant experience.

Role type and working relationships

This is a field sales, individual contributor position. The role involves regular interaction with customers and their representatives, as well as internal coordination with ABM/BM, Operations, Sales colleagues, and Planners.
