About the Role
You will become part of the Europe Growth team within the Markets & Subscriptions division, concentrating on expanding Spotify's listener base across the UK, Ireland, and Netherlands. This team operates at the convergence of marketing, product development, data analysis, and commercial strategy, closely collaborating with local market teams to increase both free and Premium subscribers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the growth strategy for Spotify in the UK, Ireland, and Netherlands, with the goal of increasing user numbers for both free and Premium services.
- Take full accountability for the Premium subscriber growth plan, monitoring subscriber counts and revenue performance regionally.
- Manage and enhance the entire conversion funnel—from user acquisition and onboarding through engagement, retention, and lifecycle marketing campaigns.
- Work alongside local market leaders to shape strategies based on customer insights, market trends, and competitor analysis.
- Design, implement, and evaluate experiments aimed at improving user conversion and retention by employing structured testing with defined success metrics.
- Develop and execute CRM and lifecycle marketing campaigns using owned channels such as email, in-app notifications, and push messages.
- Collaborate with Brand and Performance Marketing teams to synchronize efforts across paid, owned, and earned media.
- Analyze user data and behavior to continuously refine growth strategies and pinpoint new opportunities.
- Partner with Product, Data Science, and Commerce teams to identify scalable growth initiatives and unlock new capabilities.
- Create business cases and assess the impact of growth initiatives working closely with Finance and Data analysts.
- Document and disseminate insights to enhance the Europe Growth playbook and to improve upcoming campaigns.
- Engage in cross-regional projects alongside Growth team members from other parts of Europe.
- Integrate AI-powered tools and workflows to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses experience in a digital or online consumer-focused industry such as streaming, e-commerce, media, or technology.
- Proven ability in managing digital marketing or CRM campaigns across various channels.
- Comfortable working across the whole growth funnel, managing efforts from user acquisition through retention.
- Uses data-driven insights to steer decisions and continuously boost performance metrics.
- Familiar with analytics tools, CRM platforms, and frameworks for experimentation.
- Adept at cross-functional collaboration and capable of influencing stakeholders without formal authority.
- Demonstrates ownership over projects and can operate independently when necessary.
- Curious about analyzing user behavior and enthusiastic about iterative testing and learning processes.
- Knowledgeable in applying AI solutions to support analysis, planning, or campaign execution.
- Communicates effectively and enables collaboration in distributed teams.
- Experienced in delivering projects end-to-end in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Fluent in English.
Location and Work Arrangement
- Position is based in London, England.
