About the Role

Are you passionate about designing impactful skills development programs for vital manufacturing teams? The LEGO Group invites an experienced L&D professional to join our Richmond, Virginia manufacturing site to shape and advance the learning agenda for our workforce. Collaborating closely with a global network and supported by the Manufacturing Skill Lead, you will develop and roll out future-ready training initiatives that empower employees across the organization.

Note: This position is based at our temporary manufacturing facility located at 1400 Meadowvale Road, Chester, VA 23836. In 2027, operations will shift to a new site at 1600 Ruffin Mill Road, Colonial Heights, VA (Meadowville Technology Park). Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of skill-based learning projects and programs tailored for manufacturing environments, coordinating onsite activities and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to deliver blended learning solutions.
  • Lead face-to-face facilitation of tailored training sessions for production staff, ensuring high engagement and effective follow-up.
  • Collaborate with global teams to deploy and oversee digital learning content and platforms.
  • Identify skill gaps, emerging challenges, and future learning needs by engaging with management and internal networks.
  • Work seamlessly with Technical Training and other departments to define project scopes, monitor deliverables, and align training outcomes with organizational strategies.
  • Partner with peers at other manufacturing sites globally to build a cohesive yet locally relevant learning environment.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of development initiatives, striving for continuous improvement of learning metrics.
  • Lead or contribute to projects aimed at enhancing L&D processes, tools, methods, and technologies to foster innovation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in planning, designing, and executing learning and development initiatives.
  • Proven skills in training facilitation and coordinating programs, particularly for shift-working production teams.
  • Preferably experience working within HR functions.
  • Competency in creating and managing engaging digital learning materials and platforms; familiarity with Workday LMS is advantageous.
  • Innovative and creative mindset towards learning design.
  • Strong communication and influencing abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with global colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a salary range between $104,327 and $156,491 annually, depending on experience, skill set, location, and internal equity. Comprehensive remuneration, including benefits, will be detailed with the final job offer.
