Compensation and commitment

The pay range for this role is $40 to $95 per hour. The expected workload is 10 to 40 hours each week.

Key responsibilities

Convert video material into precise transcripts, including careful timestamping.
Assess how speakers sound, including tone, intent, and emotional expression.
Review grammar, sentence structure, and broader language quality.
Interpret specialized vocabulary and explain meanings based on context.
Carry out advanced language checks such as tone, register, and situational usage.
Work with other team members to keep outputs aligned and consistent.
Maintain strong standards for both written and spoken communication throughout the work.

Requirements

English proficiency must be at native or near-native level, with excellent speaking and writing ability.
Applicants should have solid experience in transcription, linguistic annotation, or similar language-centered work.
A strong grasp of linguistics, grammar, and language analysis is essential.
