Role overview

This hourly contract role is for a linguistic expert who will work remotely from the United Kingdom and handle language-focused evaluation tasks. The assignment centers on accurate transcription, detailed analysis of speech and language patterns, and high-quality written output.

Compensation and commitment

The pay range for this role is $40 to $95 per hour. The expected workload is 10 to 40 hours each week.

Key responsibilities

• Convert video material into precise transcripts, including careful timestamping.
• Assess how speakers sound, including tone, intent, and emotional expression.
• Review grammar, sentence structure, and broader language quality.
• Interpret specialized vocabulary and explain meanings based on context.
• Carry out advanced language checks such as tone, register, and situational usage.
• Work with other team members to keep outputs aligned and consistent.
• Maintain strong standards for both written and spoken communication throughout the work.

Requirements

• English proficiency must be at native or near-native level, with excellent speaking and writing ability.
