Position Overview

As a Store Detective (m/f/d), you will utilize your trained observation skills, calm demeanor, and professionalism to maintain safety on the sales floor. You will identify suspicious activities early, respond prudently, and assist our client in effectively preventing theft incidents.

Core Responsibilities

• Discreetly monitor customer activities throughout the entire sales area
• Identify and prevent theft attempts
• Address suspects based on justified suspicion or confirmed theft
• Intervene following predefined protocols during theft incidents
• Document incidents according to the client’s specifications
• Collaborate closely with store management, clients, and if necessary, law enforcement authorities

Candidate Profile

• Mandatory certification under §34a Trade Regulation Act (GewO)
• Valid first aid certificate required
• Excellent verbal and written command of the German language
• Prior experience as a store detective, in retail, or security services preferred
• Confident, composed, and professional appearance
• Sharp observation skills and quick comprehension
• Responsible, discreet, and reliable approach
• Assertiveness coupled with conflict-deescalation communication skills
• Clean police clearance certificate
