Job description
Job Overview
SENTO Japanese Kitchen located in St Ives, Sydney, is inviting applications for kitchen staff positions. This restaurant has about 30 seats and mostly serves families with children. The role offers on-site work, with part-time, full-time, and casual employment options available. A starting wage for inexperienced candidates is $26 per hour, with regular pay reviews based on skills. Meal provisions are included.
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to commit to working for at least four months.
- Previous experience in the food service industry is favored, especially familiarity and skills with stove and fryer preparation and cooking processes.
- Basic English communication skills (greetings level) are necessary.
- Applicants eligible to work under Working Holiday, Student, Business, Permanent Resident, or Citizenship visas.
- Preference for candidates living near St Ives or nearby areas; relocation assistance up to $1,000 bond loan is available for those considering moving after hire.
