Job Overview
Gyuniku, a premium Japanese Wagyu and Sushi self-service buffet located at 34 Dixon St, Haymarket, Sydney NSW 2000, is seeking kitchen staff to join their team. This is a casual employment opportunity under the Restaurant Industry Award, with competitive pay rates reflecting different times and days.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base hourly wage during weekdays: $31.19
- Additional pay for shifts after 10PM: $2.81 extra per hour
- Saturday and Sunday rates: $37.43 per hour
- Public holidays: $62.38 per hour
- Superannuation contribution: 12%
- Eligibility for Tax File Number
- 20% staff discount across Wannian Alliance restaurants including Butchers Buffet, Shabuway Buffet, Gyuniku, Mr. Hotdog, and Loin King
Work Environment and Language
English is the required language for communication as there are currently no Japanese kitchen staff. Interested candidates should text in English only.
