Job description
Role Overview
In this position, you will support L'Oréal's Travel Retail business across Asia Pacific by serving as the main operational link for major retail partners. You will coordinate supply chain topics end to end, help keep collaboration smooth, and contribute to growth in a fast-moving, international setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the operational representative for the company in conversations and negotiations with key retail accounts, covering logistics, collaborative forecasting, and other supply chain matters.
- Build and maintain strong, reliable relationships with retail partners through consistent communication and partnership-focused problem solving.
- Take ownership of Stock-In-Trade data by consolidating, reviewing, and managing it, then turning the analysis into actionable insights to reduce stock risks and improve inventory performance.
- Drive joint initiatives with retailers, including data exchange through EDI, shared forecasting processes, and sustainability-related improvements.
- Serve as the coordination hub across internal Operations teams to resolve complex challenges such as regulatory constraints or shipment changes, while protecting continuity of business and partner satisfaction.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is proactive, strategic, and highly service-oriented. The ideal candidate enjoys collaboration, can operate in complex environments, and is comfortable building productive partnerships.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Good knowledge of supply chain processes from end to end, with an understanding of how they affect business outcomes; experience in Travel Retail or a similar FMCG environment is preferred.
- Strong ability to manage stakeholders and work effectively with external clients as well as internal cross-functional teams, especially Commercial teams.
- Excellent analytical capability for reviewing data, handling inventory, and supporting informed decisions; demand planning exposure is an advantage.
- Experience delivering and coordinating projects, particularly in roles involving direct client interaction.
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills to align different teams and retail partners around shared goals.
