Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Key Account Manager responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with significant pharmacy and e-commerce clients. This role involves driving strategic partnerships, increasing sales performance, and ensuring efficient account management for key customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain robust relationships with key modern trade and e-commerce partners.
- Identify and capitalize on new business prospects within existing accounts to promote growth.
- Negotiate long-term contracts and annual plans with clients to secure partnerships.
- Ensure smooth order fulfillment, coordinated supply chain operations, and product availability.
- Meet or surpass assigned sales targets and profitability benchmarks for key accounts.
- Analyze market trends, sales data, and competitor activity to refine strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and regulatory teams to align objectives and deliver value.
- Serve as the main contact for key accounts, maintaining high customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Create and implement Joint Business Plans alongside customers to strengthen collaborations.
- Resolve client issues promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor competitive pricing, market developments, and adjust business tactics accordingly.
- Generate regular reports on account performance, sales trends, and opportunities.
- Lead e-commerce marketing efforts by developing content, managing platform campaigns, and utilizing merchandising tools.
- Track key performance indicators such as GMV, ROI, conversion rates, and customer feedback.
- Prepare periodic performance reports and present findings to management.
Requirements
- Master's in Business Administration or Bachelor's in Business, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing key accounts, sales, or business development, specifically within pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chains, distribution channels, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management abilities.
- Proficient in data analysis, sales forecasting, and strategic business planning.
- Experience using CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous exposure to managing large pharmacy chains, hospital networks, or institutional clients.
- Understanding of market dynamics in prescription, OTC, and generic medications.
- Familiarity with trade marketing and category management within pharmaceutical retail.
