About the role

For a growing security services company in Göttingen, we are looking for a reliable and motivated store detective to help protect retail premises and ensure a safe shopping environment. This is a permanent full-time position with a 40-hour work week and an immediate start is possible. Career changers are welcome.

The role focuses on monitoring store activity, identifying suspicious behavior early, supporting loss prevention, and working closely with store staff in a professional and customer-friendly way.

Key responsibilities

• Keep watch over the sales floor and spot behavior that may indicate theft or other security-related issues.
• Carry out regular patrols throughout the store and help safeguard merchandise and stock.
• Record incidents carefully and prepare reports on thefts and other unusual observations.
• Work in close coordination with sales staff to support a secure and pleasant shopping experience.
• Respond promptly and professionally to security alarms and assist in clarifying incidents.
