Job description
Overview
We are looking to expand our security team in the Braunschweig area with dependable and motivated people. This role focuses on maintaining safety in a retail environment and supporting a professional shopping experience for customers and staff.
The position is full-time with 40 hours per week, offered on a permanent basis, and can start immediately. Compensation is set at EUR 16.00 to 25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and the type of work performed.
Key duties
- Watch sales-floor activity closely and identify suspicious behaviour early.
- Carry out routine patrols throughout the department store and help protect merchandise stock.
- Record incidents and prepare reports on thefts and other notable events.
- Work closely with shop staff to help maintain a safe and secure customer environment.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security alerts and assist with follow-up investigations.
Candidate profile
- Strong powers of observation and close attention to detail so unusual activity can be spotted quickly.
- Good communication skills for teamwork and interaction with customers or colleagues when required.
- Ability to stay calm, composed, and effective in stressful situations.
- High integrity and a strong sense of responsibility to earn and maintain trust.
