About Global K9 Protection Group LLC

Global K9 Protection Group LLC is dedicated to providing top-tier canine detection services nationwide. We are searching for devoted and enthusiastic Detection Canine Handlers to strengthen our distinguished team and support our mission of excellence.

Role Overview

This position involves working closely with an expertly trained detection canine to inspect all vehicles entering or parked on client premises for narcotics and prohibited items.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct screening of vendors, employees, and visitors at entry points for illegal substances and banned items.
  • Perform regular, proactive inspections of parking areas, facility perimeters, and external delivery zones.
  • Use your own vehicle to travel with your canine partner to and from client sites.
  • Provide proper housing and care for your assigned canine during off-duty periods.
  • Maintain up-to-date and precise training records using the GlobalView system.
  • Ensure timely health maintenance for the canine, including monthly preventative treatments and health documentation.
  • Coordinate with client management, law enforcement personnel, and other relevant parties as needed.
  • Be prepared for emergency call-outs, public demonstrations, and stand-by duties, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Adhere strictly to all standard operating procedures and scope of work directives during searches and training exercises.

Required Qualifications

  • Possession of a reliable personal vehicle for transportation duties.
  • Capability to properly house and care for a working detection dog at home.
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks with accuracy and minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evening and weekend shifts.

Compensation

This position offers a pay rate of $35 per hour.
