Junior Supply Chain Analyst

Position Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Junior Supply Chain Analyst to enhance our supply chain functions remotely. The role involves supporting data-driven decision making across inventory control, demand forecasting, and optimizing supply chain activities to help the organization maintain efficient and cost-effective goods flow. This position serves as a stepping stone for individuals aiming to advance their careers within supply chain management.

Primary Duties

• Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain operations to detect patterns and inefficiencies.
• Support demand forecasting and inventory scheduling efforts.
• Keep track of inventory to prevent shortages or excess stock situations.
• Provide data-driven assistance to procurement and logistics departments.
• Generate periodic reports highlighting supply chain metrics such as KPIs, costs, and delivery durations.
• Collaborate closely with teams involved in procurement, warehousing, and transportation.
• Spot process improvement opportunities and cost reduction strategies.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of supply chain records and databases.

Qualifications

• Graduation in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• Between zero to two years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or data analytics, including internships.
• Strong skills in analysis and problem resolution.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP); familiarity with SQL or other data analytic tools preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP systems considered a bonus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Capability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.

Desired Competencies

• Fundamental knowledge of supply chain processes, covering procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
• Experience with data visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.
