About MBM and Role Overview

Join MBM as a Junior Social Media Specialist, an integral member of the social media team who collaborates closely with clients and internal leaders. This position involves assisting in planning, executing, tracking, and reporting social campaigns under the leadership of the Social Media Director. Ideal candidates bring enthusiasm for social media platforms, content strategy, and media buying tools, positioning themselves to grow their expertise while contributing positively to client success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in client workshops, briefings, and meetings as needed, and partner with the social team to deliver client presentations.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships through consistent engagement and professionalism.
  • Assist in developing and supporting social media strategies and campaign plans utilizing agency tools and market insights.
  • Manage content calendars and scheduling to align with campaign goals and timelines.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and platform developments to optimize client campaigns.
  • Contribute creatively to brainstorming sessions and enhance content through effective copywriting and alignment with brand voices.
  • Monitor client social channels actively, engaging in community management including moderating conversations, responding timely to comments, and using sentiment analysis tools.
  • Set up and monitor social media advertisements across multiple platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, and LinkedIn ensuring campaigns adhere to schedules and deliver optimal results.
  • Create detailed campaign and performance reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Log working hours accurately in the timesheet system and adhere to workplace attendance and conduct policies.
  • Support broader team efforts including contributing social updates to offline and digital teams.
  • Demonstrate continual commitment to health, safety, and positive workplace culture.

Experience and Skills

  • At least one year of practical experience in social media roles focusing on platform management and advertising.
  • Proficiency with social media ad management tools, particularly Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager.
