About Fresha

Fresha is an AI-driven operating platform serving the beauty, wellness, and self-care sector worldwide. It supports a broad range of businesses, including salons, barbers, spas, medspas, fitness studios, and health practices.

The platform is trusted by millions of consumers and businesses around the world. More than 140,000 businesses and 450,000 stylists and professionals use it globally, and it has processed over 1 billion appointments so far.

Headquartered in London, United Kingdom, Fresha also operates 15 offices across North America, EMEA, and APAC.

Its consumer marketplace helps people discover, book, and pay for beauty and wellness services with local providers. At the same time, businesses and professionals use an integrated solution to manage operations, combining business software and financial technology tools.

Fresha’s ecosystem gives merchants the tools to run smoothly, including appointment booking, point-of-sale, customer records, marketing automation, loyalty features, product inventory for beauty goods, and team management. The marketplace also helps partner businesses grow revenue through online bookings, automated marketing, mobile apps, and integrations with major technology platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Google.

Role Overview

Due to continued growth, Fresha is hiring a Business Development Executive to join its global team. The position reports to the Head of Sales for Europe and works closely with the Commercial team and prospective partners. The main focus of the role is generating new business.

This opportunity suits someone who performs well in a fast-moving environment, works independently, enjoys challenge, and wants to make a real contribution. The role is based in a dog-friendly London office and requires onsite attendance five days per week. Office address: The Bower, The Tower, 207 Old St, London, EC1V 9NR.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and key performance goals.
  • Reach out to decision-makers through phone, email, and social channels to create new business opportunities, with occasional in-person meetings where needed.
  • Present, promote, and sell products and services through demos to both prospective and current partners.
  • Own the full sales process from lead generation through to deal closure.
  • Assess partner needs and business goals by carrying out cost-benefit and needs analysis to ensure the right solution fit.
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver a smooth and positive partner experience.
  • Share feedback on industry developments and market trends.
  • Contact all qualified inbound leads promptly and record call results accurately in the CRM.
  • Act as the main commercial contact for partners across all business-related matters.
  • Carry out additional duties as required to support the role and business priorities.

What We Are Looking For

Applicants should bring at least 1 year of strong B2B sales experience with a proven record of achieving results. Experience in SaaS, online marketplaces, or payment platforms is especially valuable.

The ideal candidate is proactive, persuasive, and strong at building relationships. You should be able to multitask, prioritise effectively, manage time well, and stay curious with a desire to keep learning and improving.

Added Bonus

Fluency in English plus another language is a plus. Experience in the beauty and wellness sector would also be an advantage.

Interview Process

  • Initial screening call with a member of the Talent Team, lasting 30 minutes.
  • Skills and experience interview with Team Leads, lasting 30 minutes.
  • Presentation stage in person with Team Leads and the General Manager for the UK & Ireland, lasting 75 minutes.

The company aims to complete the interview process and share feedback within 2 weeks. Applications are reviewed manually by the talent team, and while the goal is to assess applications within 7 days, high application volume may sometimes extend that timeline.

Compensation

The role offers a base salary of £30,000 per year, plus £10,000 variable pay and accelerated commission for performance above target.

Inclusive Workforce

Fresha is committed to building a workplace where people from all backgrounds feel welcome, included, and empowered to contribute. All applicants are considered fairly for employment.

The company does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status, gender identity, national origin, disability, or other protected characteristics relevant to the hiring location.

If you need accessibility support during the interview process or after joining, Fresha encourages you to share those needs so appropriate support can be provided.

AI in Hiring

Fresha may use artificial intelligence tools at parts of the hiring process, including application review, resume analysis, response assessment, and checking for potential inconsistencies or verification signals in submitted materials. These tools support the recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are made by people. Candidates who want more details about data processing can contact the company directly.
