Junior Research Scientist, Center for Quantum and Topological Systems (CQTS)

Role Overview

New York University Abu Dhabi’s Center for Quantum and Topological Systems (CQTS), led by Dr. Hisham Sati, is hiring a Junior Research Scientist to contribute to interdisciplinary work in quantum systems.

What You Will Do

• Conduct interdisciplinary research in quantum systems as part of the center’s ongoing projects, working closely with the PI and/or Co-PIs and with the potential to contribute to high-quality publications.
• Take part in the center’s academic and research activities, such as workshops, training programs, seminars, conferences, hackathons, meetings, and interactions with visiting scholars.
• Support and mentor undergraduate researchers in coordination with the PI and Co-PIs.
• Represent and promote the center’s research through talks at seminars, meetings, workshops, conferences, and similar events at both national and international levels.
• Assist with teaching tutorials and recitation sessions when required.

Eligibility

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.

Employment Terms
