Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Event Producer dedicated to our K-12 programs. The suitable candidate will have experience managing at least one B2B conference or event and a strong grasp of the elements required to orchestrate a successful event. Reporting to a Production Manager and working alongside other producers, this role ensures a smooth event process.
Work Location
This position offers a hybrid schedule requiring two office days weekly in NY, NJ, or CT, or can be fully remote for candidates located in CA, FL, TX, PA, GA, OH, and IN.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct industry research and develop engaging conference content with experts and internal teams
- Identify and reach out to potential speakers for the events
- Design comprehensive programs featuring multiple sessions, keynote speakers, and curated content
- Revise and maintain conference agendas and related digital materials
- Keep internal databases updated with accurate event information
- Negotiate speaker expenses aligning with budget constraints and coordinate with operations for financial accuracy
- Manage on-site logistics to ensure smooth session execution, speaker coordination, and technical support
- Work closely with the operations team on event preparation cadences to guarantee flawless on-site success
- Evaluate previous events to identify areas for improvement and new opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in B2B event production, particularly managing at least one program
- Proven ability in sales and prospecting targeting C-level executives
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
- Ability to work proactively under pressure, managing multiple priorities efficiently
- Strong follow-up and execution skills
- Technologically adept with a willingness to learn new software and applications

- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools

Compensation
Base salary ranges from $50,000 to $55,000 annually, with additional bonuses, incentives, and uncapped commissions. First-year total compensation is expected between $65,000 and $70,000.
