Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Event Producer dedicated to managing our K-12 conference programs. Candidates should have previous experience running at least one B2B conference event and a clear understanding of the components that make an event successful. This full-time role offers a hybrid work arrangement; candidates in NY, NJ, or CT are expected to work two days weekly in the office, while those in CA, FL, TX, PA, GA, OH, and IN may work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and develop engaging conference content in collaboration with industry leaders and internal staff
- Source and coordinate with delegates for presentations and keynote speaking roles
- Design comprehensive event programs with multiple sessions and curated content
- Maintain and update conference agendas and digital materials
- Keep all event-related databases current with latest information
- Manage speaker-related expenses within budget and coordinate with operations for accuracy
- Ensure on-site event execution runs smoothly regarding speaker logistics, session schedules, and technical needs
- Work closely with the operations team to uphold event preparation standards and operating procedures
- Evaluate previous events to identify growth and improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience producing B2B events
- Sales and prospecting experience targeting C-level executives
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to work independently
- Ability to stay calm and proactive under pressure
- Skillful at managing and prioritizing multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Strong follow-up and task completion skills
- Technical proficiency with aptitude for learning new software and tools

- Familiarity with Canva software

Compensation
The base salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $55,000 per year, with total first-year compensation expected between $65,000 and $70,000 including bonuses, incentives, and uncapped commissions.
