About the Role

Join Jushi Holdings Inc. in Massachusetts as a Junior Buyer and contribute to the dynamic cannabis industry, which is among the fastest-growing sectors in the United States. In this role, you will manage daily purchasing activities, ensure inventory accuracy, maintain product menus, assist in promotional campaigns, oversee delivery receiving, and generate data reports for assigned retail and wholesale channels. You will collaborate closely with multiple departments including Buying, Retail Operations, Compliance, Marketing, Accounting, vendors, and distribution partners to ensure seamless operation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist commercial leadership with purchasing by handling purchase orders, product replenishment, vendor coordination, and order tracking.
  • Keep retail and online menus current, updating product names, categories, pricing, discounts, descriptions, images, strain details, potency information, and availability.
  • Help set up and execute promotions by coordinating discounts, menu modifications, product tagging, promotional calendars, and communicating with Retail teams.
  • Verify deliveries for compliance and accuracy of products, quantities, documentation, invoices, manifests, and system records.
  • Collaborate with Inventory and Retail teams to resolve issues regarding received goods, stock availability, pricing, and menu presentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels, sales rates, and product performance to assist with replenishment suggestions and manage stock risks.
  • Compile regular data reports covering sales, inventory, promotions, delivery activity, menu accuracy, and vendor performance.
  • Maintain organized documentation for purchase orders, delivery paperwork, vendor programs, promotional approvals, pricing updates, and product metrics.
  • Follow up with vendors concerning order confirmations, delivery schedules, product substitutions, pricing queries, and missing paperwork.
  • Support Buying and Commercial Operations with data analysis, reporting, and administrative assistance as required.
  • Work with teams across Retail Operations, Marketing, Compliance, Accounting, Distribution, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely execution of purchasing initiatives.
  • Ensure all purchasing, pricing, promotional, and receiving activities comply with internal controls, company policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes involving menu maintenance, receiving protocols, promotional communications, and reporting accuracy.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, retail management, marketing, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail, purchasing, inventory, merchandising, receiving, data entry, or administrative roles is desirable.
  • Experience in cannabis, consumer packaged goods, retail, or regulated industries is advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain precise records of products, pricing, promotions, receiving, and reports.
  • Comfortable using inventory systems, point-of-sale, e-commerce platforms, purchasing, and reporting tools; familiarity with cannabis industry software is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word; knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills, effective communication, timely follow-ups, and excellent time management.
  • Aptitude for managing multiple priorities and collaborating efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
