Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily receipt, storage, and auditing of IT hardware inventory, ensuring effective tracking of stock levels to initiate timely procurement actions.
• Manage the IT asset database within OpenText SMAX, ensuring thorough mapping of hardware serial numbers to precise user or location details.
• Collaborate with Field Support teams to prepare, package, and safely dispatch hardware units to multiple technician sites involved in projects.
• Supervise the lifecycle of hardware assets, ensuring secure data wiping of decommissioned items and organizing their environmentally responsible disposal.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of five years' experience managing IT asset management, hardware warehousing, or complex technology logistics.
• Expert-level knowledge of OpenText SMAX Asset Management and CMDB systems or comparable tools such as ServiceNow or Jira, alongside proficiency with barcode scanning processes.
• Strong organizational skills with experience in supply chain and freight logistics, combined with knowledge of hardware depreciation processes.
