Role Overview
We seek a proficient IT Service Technician with extensive knowledge in Microsoft 365 platforms, especially Microsoft Intune and Azure Active Directory including Entra ID. This critical role supports client IT operations by ensuring security, efficiency, and smooth service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver primary and escalating technical support for Microsoft 365 services, resolving issues involving email, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Prepare hardware by imaging, shipping laptops and tablets, accepting returns, and re-imaging devices accordingly.
- Oversee device enrollment, application deployment, and compliance enforcement using Microsoft Intune tools.
- Manage identity services in Azure AD covering user authentication, conditional access, and multi-factor authentication setups.
- Utilize Entra ID for advanced identity and privilege management as well as identity governance measures.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of support cases, troubleshooting processes, and user instructions.
- Conduct training sessions to educate users on the latest Microsoft 365 features and best practices.
- Monitor service incidents, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure prompt resolution to minimize business interruptions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
- Hands-on experience in IT support roles focused on Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong expertise with Microsoft Intune device management.
- Familiarity with Azure AD and Entra ID capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for solving complex technical problems.
- Strong communication skills tailored to a customer-first mindset, both written and verbal.
- Ability to operate effectively in a remote or hybrid work setting while maintaining excellent teamwork and productivity.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Capable of sitting for prolonged periods during work hours.
- Good manual dexterity for computer-related tasks using keyboard, mouse, and other devices.
- Sufficient vision to read computer screens and printed materials.
- Clear spoken and written communication for virtual meetings and correspondence.
- Adequate hearing for telephone and online meetings.
- Access to a quiet and dedicated workspace with reliable internet connectivity.
Compensation and Schedule
The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $21 to $24. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM Arizona time, with in-office presence required on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and remote work on Tuesday and Thursday (subject to change). The office is located at 8222 S 48th St, Phoenix, AZ.
