Role Overview
PLUS Communications is hiring a highly driven, self-motivated IT & Business Operations Specialist to support a fast-moving workplace. In this role, you will help keep core technology and business operations running smoothly, provide hands-on technical support, and contribute to improvements in efficiency, reliability, and security.
This position offers the chance to own important IT workflows, support strategic technical initiatives, and build broader experience across operations in a professional setting.
Key Duties
- Handle incoming technology requests and resolve issues involving computers, software, hardware, and access to business applications.
- Run onboarding IT orientation sessions for new hires and manage offboarding tasks for user devices and account access.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot conference room AV equipment, including setups used for client meetings.
- Assist with special projects involving hardware and software improvements, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Serve as the main internal liaison with the parent company’s IT team to support employee needs and uphold compliance requirements.
- Provide day-to-day operational assistance across the organization when needed.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings several years of help desk experience, strong technical judgment, excellent organization, and a proactive approach. You should be comfortable working independently, communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, and handling sensitive information with care.
Employment Details
This is a full-time role with a 40-hour workweek and a hybrid schedule that combines on-site and remote work. The position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for overtime pay.
Compensation and Benefits
The budgeted annual salary is $60,000, with potential eligibility for a year-end bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life insurance, paid parental leave, paid vacation, and paid sick leave. The company also offers a hybrid work-from-home arrangement.
