Role Summary

As the IT Administrator based in Berlin, you will juggle responsibilities in system administration, automation, AI-enhanced processes, and project management. Serving as the central IT problem-solver across Tier 1 to Tier 3 support, you will handle onboarding, laptop issues, and internal network challenges for both employees and office subtenants. This role offers an opportunity to independently create and enhance automated processes, lead IT partnerships, and contribute to cross-functional projects aligning with company growth goals in a dynamic scale-up environment. This freshly established position allows you to shape and lead the IT department's development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide internal IT consulting and troubleshooting for software setups, Macbook and network issues.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions for new employees, including laptop setup and IT-related training.
  • Manage and negotiate IT service partnerships and contracts focusing on process automation.
  • Ensure cyber security measures are in place for hybrid work arrangements.

Candidate Profile

  • At least three years of experience as an IT administrator or similar role.
  • Aptitude for thriving in a fast-paced startup culture with a proactive, independent approach.
  • Strong workload management skills including prioritization and deadline adherence.
  • Data analysis skills to leverage metrics for improving operational efficiency.
  • Effective communication skills in English and German (minimum B1 level) with both technical and non-technical audiences.
