Job description

Role overview

Bradesco Bank is hiring an Investment Product Analyst / Fund Selector for its Investment Products team in Miami, Coral Gables, FL. This position will focus on manager research, fund selection, product due diligence, and onboarding across mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative strategies. The analyst will work closely with Sales, Compliance, Operations, Legal, and Technology to help ensure that products satisfy client requirements and regulatory expectations.

The bank is also building a new international digital investment platform, and this role will contribute to the design, governance, and selection of products for that offering. The platform is initially aimed mainly at W-8 clients, meaning non-U.S. residents, so experience with cross-border investment structures and international regulations is especially important. Knowledge of products for domestic U.S. clients is also valuable, since the business continues to support that market as well.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform qualitative and quantitative research on current and prospective fund managers, reviewing performance, risk, investment process, team, and pricing.
  • Prepare fund selection recommendations and present them to internal committees, while maintaining a clear audit trail that follows supervisory procedures.
  • Support the full product lifecycle, including onboarding work such as agreements, operational readiness, and data integrations, as well as periodic product reviews, watchlists, replacements, and terminations.
  • Build comparative portfolio analytics, including factor exposure, drawdown analysis, scenario testing, and benchmark alignment, and turn findings into client-ready narratives.
  • Partner with Compliance to uphold written supervisory procedures, product limits, and documentation requirements, and ensure due diligence files are complete and review-ready.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Advisory, Operations, Legal, and Technology teams to support timely launches and product updates.
  • Monitor markets, including macro trends, fund flows, fees, regulatory changes, and competitive developments, to guide selection and shelf strategy.

Technical qualifications

The role calls for strong investment analysis skills, including performance attribution, risk measurement, factor and style analysis, and peer benchmarking. It also requires comfort using Excel, including PowerQuery and Pivot tools, along with statistical tools such as Python or R as an advantage, and data platforms like Morningstar, Bloomberg, or similar sources.

A working understanding of mutual funds, ETFs, UCITS, alternatives, share classes, distribution, trading, and operational due diligence is important. The analyst should also be able to prepare diligence memos, committee materials, and compliant research files aligned with supervisory procedures. FINRA Series 7 is strongly preferred, though candidates should be willing and able to obtain it within 6 months after joining.

What helps you succeed

  • You take ownership, stay organized, and move work forward proactively across multiple deadlines.
  • You learn quickly, adapt easily, and look for ways to improve tools and processes.
  • You bring sound judgment and integrity, balancing conviction with risk and compliance needs.
  • You communicate clearly in writing and verbally, and can turn complex analysis into concise recommendations for committees and sales teams.
  • You work well in teams, share credit, and build trust across products, sales, compliance, legal, operations, and technology.

Education and experience

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Applicants should have 3 to 7 years of relevant buy-side or sell-side experience in manager research, product analysis, or portfolio analytics.
  • Advanced credentials such as CFA or CAIA are considered an advantage.
  • English is required, and Portuguese is preferred because of frequent interaction with Brazil-based stakeholders and documents.

Eligibility and work authorization

Candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Why join Bradesco Bank

  • Collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Professional development and growth opportunities.
