Position Overview

The Investment Banking Associate role offers the chance to collaborate closely with senior bankers, gaining extensive hands-on exposure across the full scope of investment banking services. You will engage in live M&A and ESOP deals for clients within E&C sub-sectors such as contractors, construction materials, facility services, engineering & environmental, building products, and utility services. This role is designed to build strong financial skills within an entrepreneurial and dynamic setting, with direct mentorship from seasoned leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update detailed financial models including discounted cash flow, comparable company, precedent transaction, and leveraged buyout analyses to support valuations and deal structures.
• Create and refine client-facing presentations and marketing documents like pitch books and confidential information memorandums to facilitate M&A and capital-raising projects and assist with business development.
• Conduct comprehensive research on industries and companies within the E&C sectors to generate insights that inform valuation, marketing strategies, and the execution of transactions.
• Engage fully in live deal execution processes, including managing procedures, supporting due diligence, and preparing analyses and deliverables for clients.

Candidate Profile

• At least two years of experience as an Investment Banking Analyst or Associate in an established investment bank, with involvement in live transactions.
• A strong academic background reflected by a minimum GPA of 3.5.
• Advanced quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills supported by proven financial modeling expertise.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• A high level of diligence, precision, and ability to function effectively under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work in a fast-paced, lean team.
• An expressed interest in the Engineering & Construction industry is an advantage.
