Job description

Role overview

This graduate program is intended for candidates who want to build a solid grounding in corporate finance, investment analysis, and financial markets while supporting strategic business and transaction-oriented work. The position combines guided learning with practical exposure to financial analysis, research, valuation, and advisory tasks.

What you will do

You will contribute to financial and market research, study company performance, review financial statements, and collect industry insights that help shape investment and corporate finance decisions. The role also involves supporting financial modelling, valuation work, presentation creation, and report preparation for business development and strategy.

In addition, you may assist with due diligence, transaction support, financial forecasting, budgeting analysis, and evaluation of business performance where required. You will also track market movements, economic conditions, and industry developments to spot opportunities and risks that could affect financial strategy and investment choices.

Graduate development and collaboration

As part of the graduate finance program, you will take part in structured training, mentorship, and cross-functional projects designed to strengthen technical knowledge, analytical capability, and professional confidence. Working closely with finance professionals, investment teams, and wider business stakeholders will be essential to deliver accurate and high-quality analytical output.

Qualifications and expectations

The role calls for a strong grasp of corporate finance, accounting principles, financial analysis, investment concepts, and financial markets. You should be able to read and interpret financial statements and assess business performance effectively.

Proficiency with spreadsheets, financial modelling, data analysis, and presentation tools is important. Experience with financial databases, business intelligence platforms, and reporting software would be an added advantage.

We are looking for someone with strong quantitative thinking, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills, along with the confidence to draw structured conclusions from financial information. Knowledge of valuation methods, budgeting, forecasting, financial ratios, capital markets, and risk analysis will be beneficial.

Excellent written and verbal communication is required, including the ability to prepare professional reports, presentations, and financial documentation while collaborating well across teams. Strong organisation, attention to detail, adaptability, and a commitment to ongoing learning are also important in a fast-paced environment.
