  • Conduct thorough commercial, financial, operational, and market due diligence on potential investments, identifying principal value drivers and risk factors.
  • Assist in all phases of investment execution including screening, valuation, due diligence, financing arrangements, documentation, and deal closure.
  • Prepare detailed materials for investment committees and present findings to internal and external stakeholders, including market research and financial analyses.
  • Coordinate due diligence efforts with various advisers such as legal, financial, tax, technical, and commercial experts, managing transaction-related workflows.
  • Support continuous portfolio monitoring activities, including performance evaluation, strategic planning, budgeting, and assessing prospects for follow-on investments or exits.
  • Perform in-depth research on infrastructure sub-sectors, market competition, regulatory environment, and prospective acquisition targets.

Candidate Requirements

  • Between 1 and 3 years' experience in a reputable investment bank, M&A advisory firm, corporate finance department, or a similarly transaction-driven setting.
  • Proficient in constructing detailed financial models and performing valuations independently, with a solid grasp of financial statements and corporate finance principles.
  • Understanding of transaction structures and investment return calculations.
  • Experience or interest in sectors such as infrastructure, telecommunications, technology, or energy is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to assess intricate investment cases.
