About the role
The Global Investigations team works to address serious and organized crime affecting the platform, as well as internal wrongdoing. In this NORAM Investigator position, you will handle both internal and external matters end to end, from initial triage through closure. The role calls for strong judgment, the ability to work independently, and comfort with large, complex datasets. A solid understanding of fraud and cyber-related crime is important, along with the ability to assess a wide range of case types.
Key responsibilities
- Lead focused investigations into the most critical issues affecting the company and its users.
- Prepare clear, concise, and well-supported case summaries for both internal teams and outside partners.
- Translate technical findings into plain language for a range of stakeholders, including law enforcement.
- Spot weaknesses in processes or systems and help shape practical ways to reduce risk.
- Collaborate closely with multiple partners while setting expectations and keeping work moving effectively.
Qualifications
Applicants should bring at least 5 years of experience in an investigative setting, such as corporate investigations, law enforcement, forensic accounting, or legal work. The role also values people who can work independently, make sound decisions, and manage a high volume of information.
Preferred background
- Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python, or a willingness to learn.
- Strong comfort using Google Workspace tools.
- Experience with technical investigations or computer forensics.
- Proven ability to investigate complex fraud and financial crime matters.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience conducting investigative interviews.
- Ability to review large datasets and identify key evidence.
Compensation and benefits
The posted base pay for Dallas, TX is USD 104,000 to USD 115,500 per year. Similar salary bands are listed for Boston, Chicago, and Miami, while Phoenix is listed at USD 92,000 to USD 102,500 per year. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, an equity award, and other compensation elements. Benefits include access to a 401(k) plan and additional employee benefits.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Dallas, TX. The position is part of the NORAM region’s investigative function and focuses on both internal and external cases involving different types of crime.
